I am new to EVE and I want to find other newbies to do missions and mining and whatever else I can get into. Where would I find other like minded people like myself? I figure newbies can stick together and we can help each other learn. Can you please help. Thanks..

Although not really a group of new pilots, EVE University [E-UNI] is one of the major corps in teaching new players, so a lot of newer pilots start their player corp career with E-UNI

Join some education company, like EVE University. You can learn a lot and meet other new players ready for missioning in a team with you. Asking on local in starter systems can also be helpful, but be careful with that. There are also companies that recruit new players or you can create your own, only for new players. That could be fun.

As others said, join a good noob corp. Or alternately you can chat people up in your NPC corp chat channel (you're always signed into it) and see if you can round some peeps up there.
