Compare this:

Empyrean Age Trailer

With this:

Keepstar Deathstar

In the books Empyrean Age and Templar One it becomes quite clear that Empress Jamyl, may She rest in peace, was heavily involved in drifter tech and possibly was possesed by a drifter? And it was so important that they killed her in the middle of Amarr Space.

I thought the super weapon Jamyl used to destroy the Elder Fleet was Terran?

I also kind of figured the reason that the Drifters freaked out about that special Abaddon they were building was because it also had that weapon and it scared them shitless. So they 360 noscoped Jamyl and her Titan.

It was a salvaged Terran jump drive that was weaponized. Blink

Er no.

The Abaddon was created by Jamyl and it did destroy the Elder Fleet.

Then, some time later, Minmatar nomads stumbled across it in the middle of space. It looked like it had been essentially abandoned in the middle of a Rogue Drone hive... a hive that, for some reason, was packing it with the fuel that it needed.

The Minmatar attacked and, it turns out, the fuel that the superweapon used was quite... unstable.

The destruction of the Abaddon set off a chain reaction that made the local star go nova... which in turn made other stars like that one go nova throughout New Eden (see: Seyllin Incident).

The end result was wormholes opening up throughout New Eden.

Whether this was masterminded by Jamyl herself or was the manipulative work of the "Entity" in her head, no one is quite certain.

The Drifters killed her because, presumably, she "knew too much."

That's exactly the right way to start that post, as a fairytale.

Eve has always been only a game. Always will be.

It is now. Because of people like you who had the ability to truly enjoy something taken from you at too early an age. But it was only science fiction after all. New stuff will come, even after you are gone. Your austerity-like schoolmarm mindset is on the retreat in the world today.
