Sound cutting out/popping noises

Not sure if anyone else is noticing it on their end, but seems like the sound (especially during missions where NPC's are dying) on my system is either generating weird popping noises and quite often getting cut out or interrupted and not playing fully. Again, happens when ships are exploding. Another specific example is that most of my missile salvos generate no sound at all.

I recently got a new comp and originally thought it was my old system nearing death, but even the new system is having the same affects occur. The only other thing I can think of is my headphones, but that would mean my speakers are messing up too, and this is so far isolated to Eve.

"Tomahawks?"

"----in' A, right?"

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

"----, you pay me half that and I'll hump in some c4 and blow the ---- out of it my own damn self."

I'm also experiencing sound popping (sounds like popcorn) only when my camera is zoomed closer to my ship, at a certain distance zoomed out (but model still clearly visible) the popping stops completely and I still hear the ship ambiance but without the popping. If I turn up or down the volume the popping volume changes too. When zoomed in the closest to the ship it's the most severe.

This is luckily not happening any where else in the game for me (and other games/programs are fine too), I narrowed it down to the "Modules" slider under Advanced Audio Settings. This happens with all audio settings set as default.

In my case where I notice it, it only happens with ship explosions on occasion that are distant from the camera or when several are happening close by at once. Missile sound effects are still a bit sketchy and don't always consistently trigger even when zoomed in close enough to hear them. CCP may have caught on to it since it seems neither issue happens as often as it did when Ascension first released, but it still happens sometimes.

If I remember to, I'll try disabling the Doppler setting to see if it's an issue with sound falloff maybe getting messy with it on.
