Ships with hitpoint & damage bonus to drones will it help ewar drones?

As the title says, will I better off in a Myrmidon with Vespa EC-600's and want to brake a lock, than in an Brutix that doesn't have any drone bonuses?
Or is the bonuses just for drones that do damage?

Drone damage bonuses apply only to damage, not to any EWar stats.

Thx, wasn't sure when i had 2 different outcomes against, in this case the same mining npc scramblers.
In Myrmidon i got away, in Brutix no go.

NPC scramblers are typically (Always?) frigates.
EC 600's may have had a hard time keeping up with them and applying jams.

What I'd recommend is:
Don't use ECM drones at all. Use a flight of Hobgoblins. Either Battle Cruiser you mentioned should tank until the hobs kill the rats.
