Buy orders for blueprint copies

There should be possibility to create buy orders for blueprint copies and researched blueprint originals. Buy order for blueprints should always ask ME and TE level and number of runs. Infinite runs mean blueprint original and limited runs mean blueprint copy. ME and TE level could have range like ME 6-8 and TE 8-12 and number of copies could be something like 5-8.

Comments are welcome for my idea!

This would require a total rewrite of the market code, and probably the item DB code as well.
It's one of those things that the value added is nowhere near the work it would take.

Even if each bpc was not a unique item and could be stacked, there would still be hundreds of market 'items' for every bpc type because every possible combination of me/pe for every possible bpc would have to have its own tab.

I doubt this can be done whilst me/pe is a thing.

Hate to break it to you OP, but this idea isn't original it's just not feasible. Eve uses static item templates for ever packaged item you can buy on the market, and the market only understands references to those static templates. Every stackable item is a reference to those static items. Items that can't be stacked, like BPCs and BPOs with research invested in them are their own thing that the Market database doesn't know about, and frankly doesn't want to know about because it would make things lag to hell and gone.

So yeah, this just isn't technically feasible right now.

If I had to guess this will either magically show up some time as a result of re-writes in support of Citadel (highly unlikely) or it'll happen in like 3-4 years when CCP gets around to re-writing the market database in the way they're currently doing most of the in-space sim code to break things down by grid and do other fun things.

By which I mean re-write an entire core system of Eve from scratch and then yank away the old one like a magician playing with a table cloth and hope all the glass ware stays standing.

Yay, I get to quote myself:

Yeah, this is one of those topics that isn't terrible but just isn't vaguely technically feasible.

The real problem with threads like these are the people who come in and try to mansplain how you just have to do X to the database and it would just WORK. Let's not turn this in to one of those and let it die quietly.

I can sell you over 3000 capital / bc BPC's.
Various ME/TE and runs.
Imagine yourself list on the market that include all of those.
