Aye, Redstone 3 is actually really exciting, and I'm not even a big Windows fan. If the Cobalt x86 emulation works as well as they claim, that could be quite a game changer. However, that's still a year away at least.

You could set up a windows instance on a cheap shared hosting plan for a few dollars a month, install EvE on that, and remote desktop into it from your iPad.

Can you elaborate on how to do this?
Which windows instancing service would you recommend?

Violates the terms an conditions of the hosting service I checked out. The said I would need a dedicated server to even attempt this, the price the quoted was $170 a month. Hosting a game like this responder suggested won't work. Just following up.

Let's potentially double post:

I have never heard of Amazon AWS objecting to people playing games on their GPU instances.

Just setup a VNC client on your computer. Make an AWS account. Spin up a g2.2xlarge spot instance with windows for 14 cents per hour. Install the game on it (You might also have to install better GPU drivers). And enjoy the game at 1 fps with an extra second of lag on top.

Does such a version of the client exist? I truly miss EVE, but getting a PC isn't an option for me. I do have an iPad tho. If this is a repetitive thread I do apologize. Looking for seriously responses please, not trash talking.

Buy a laptop. Go.

Yep, nabbed a nice one for 400usd.
