So i conducted an interesting test on the Sisi server today:

Test conditions:

Covert cyno/cloak fitted Pilgrim
Using afterburner rotates around a Thanatos carrier.
Damage is recorded from one fighter while Pilgrim is stationary from x1 heavy missiles:

1077 dmg recorded at 0 m/s
164 dmg recorded at 515 m/s AB ON (50MN II)

Turret damage was recorded at

455 damage at 0 m/s
344 damage at 515 m/s

interesting note the fighters 'autocannons' ect. have NO tracking trait, meaning that their tracking speed cannot be disrupted (as they use missle explosion radius and velocity to calculate damage)

With Missile guidance disruptors Overheated on max skills pilgrim with a Tracking diagnostic rig II The results were:

Heavy missile was recorded at
1077 dmg recorded at 0 m/s
164 dmg recorded at 515 m/s AB ON (50MN II)

Turret damage was recorded at

455 damage at 0 m/s
344 damage at 515 m/s

Evidently Ship speed is the only factor affecting the accuracy of weapons. Is this Mechanic of them being immune intended? Because this seems to be rather over powered.

Why should mitigating fighter dps only be accomplishable with ECM?
