What drones should I use?

What drones are best for killing guristas? Been mining and 2 or 3 get my venture into armor. Right now I'm using warrior drones and they done seem to be working too well. I cant add shield boost or resist or they will target jam me forever so I'm using 3 sensor boosters.

Hornets. Guristas can tank explosive damage all day but are relatively weak to kinetic.

If you have drones on agressive they should target the enemies even if you are jammed.

I am not arguing the use of Hornets, based on resist holes they are the proper ones for Gurista rats.
That said I always preferred Hobgoblins or Warriors simply because thermal is a secondary resist hole for most of the rat types and the higher damage multiplier of the Gallente drones often overcomes what little disadvantage they may be at because of resists.

So this argument goes way back of course, but I actually like to use Hornets and Acolytes.

Hornets do enough damage that to kin-weak rats they are hands down better than hobgoblins. They can also hit the secondary resist hole for Angels hard enough to *almost* overcome the explosive advantage of Warriors.

Furthermore, Hornets are faster and track better than Hobgoblins so you get higher quality hits and get them sooner.

As for Acolytes... Umm. I like to be different? They're not as **** as they used to be, but Hobgoblins are still better (though only slightly now!) against EM-weak rats. However, they are still quite a bit faster and have much better tracking than Hobs, so there's that.

also try to orbit the rock instead of just sitting still. your speed will reduce some of the incoming damage.
