Question about escalations

So I'm new to ratting generally speaking but not new to the game. I'm ratting guristas in a forlorn hub and I got an escalation pop up for a few jumps away.
My question is, how much harder are these escalations? I can do the anomalies without issue. I have a very strongly active tanked talos. I make 20 mill isk ticks running the regular combat sites. I can rep 650dps cap stable with a 35k buffer and do 1000dps. Could I do the escalation or is it risky without a battleship and a 150k buffer? My kin/therm resists are 93% and 85% as well.
I'm ab/blaster fit to sig/speed tank battleships. They barely hit me.

Look up the appropriate Fleet Staging Point.

They can be nasty. You might want to sell the escalation to someone else. If memory serves, your options are dropping a pair of ships, dropping a marauder, and dropping a dreadnaught.

How do you sell it and what are they usually worth?

Expeditions gained from completing exploration sites have a 24 hr timer which doesn't leave you much time. You have to basically get to the site and complete it before the timer expires. The site will despawn when the timer runs out even if you're engaged with the NPC's at the site.

As for selling it, maybe some Corp mates might be online and want to buy it. Problem with expedition sites is you can't make a copy of the bookmark location in your journal. You have to physically go to the system, warp to the site and create a bookmark to give to other players.
