Calling all the Killboard owners

Hello Mr Killboard operator :)

I have had a thought. With the advent of Alpha clones, we should do our bit and have a separate table for them.

It must be daunting to try aspire to what Gamma clones have done, and I think it would really help boost the eve community if an alpha clone could compete with alpha clones... give them something realistic to aspire to.

Can Alpha status be pulled from the API? I guess it hinges on this..
I'm a bit clueless, but I hope you get the idea.

imho, this info is unnecessary since any account can go alpha to omega and vice versa...

Can it even be seen through the killmail alone whether a characters clone grade is Sigma or Tau at any given time? Not that I think this info is necessary or sensible, but I also think it's not possible either.

As far as i can see there is no notification in the CREST killmail. And as stated by another poster you can go alpha back and forth on any given time. You could only count the kills where he was alpha of course but what do you do when alphas play together with omegas?

At the moment i am happy that we have at least one working killboard site :)

I am very well aware that you and all the rich people can switch between, and I'm also hoping that the thousands of alpha pilots subscribe.
But this is not the case for everyone, many pilots are bolstering our game because it is free, and they deserve catering to because they enhance eve. and though one day they may subscribe they cannot now.

There needs to be an alpha standard that they can relate to

There is nothing in a killmail that indicates the status of the clone and killboards are not operated by CCP.

So currently, there is no way for a killboard owner (eg. Squizz Caphinator in the case of zkillboard) to do this.

This would require changes to the killmail server code and should start with a suggestion in the Player Features & Ideas forum.

What happens in one year? Three years? Do we love 2017 alphas less than 2016 alphas? Should we have zkillboardalpha+1 (+3)(+....)
