EVEMail icon blink

I only seem to get the mail icon blinking when I receive e-mail in the EVE Mail tab, not in the Communications tab. Is there any way to make it blink for both tabs?

There should be blink options inside the email interface somewhere; if you don't see a sprocket for email settings, try right-clicking on all the tabs inside the mail interface.

But also right-click the icon toolbar on the left side of the screen and make sure you haven't checked "disable (all) blinks".

Good grief Memphis, I had no idea that right-click possibility existed, even after 3 years in the game. I've been slightly bothered for ages because my journal refused to blink on completion of missions on one of my characters. Now I think I know the answer. Thanks for the tip.

I've been playing for years, but simply hanging out in NQ&A still teaches me new things on a routine basis. It's why this is my favorite subforum. And of course the attitude, and I enjoy helping others. But people still will make off-hand comments that make me realize I don't know as much as I'd like to think.

Save me from rookie chat though. If I go in there, my nature will have me too busy helping rookies to actually play. Four hours later I'll realize that I've been spinning in station rapid-firing responses and answering private messages for help.
