Just a question regarding the above.
If I sub for Omega status using any of the four payment plans available will it be a rolling contract?
Will I be billed automatically after the month/months are up?

as far as i know, you can pay for the subscription through paypal (this the one i use), credit card, PLEX, and game time you can buy online.

in my experience, yes, CCP will set your payment mode as 'recurring' initially, but you can disable that, no worries.

PLEX is not recurring iirc, credit card is recurring until cancelled. No idea on other types, never used them.

I pay by credit card and then disable it immediately afterwards. They make it pretty easy to undo the sub.

They call it "subscription" in the Account Management site, but you actually prepay for 1 month, 3 months, etc., and you can immediately "cancel subscription" which just cancels the automatic recurrent billing. You still get your 1 month, 3 months, etc. of Omega that you paid for, and will be considered "subscribed" for the duration, for all intents and purposes (various gifts, promotions, rewards, training speed, skill unlocks, everything).

So what happens when I go Omega for say 3 months and it runs out, if I have Omega ships etc and go back Alpha I cant use them but if I go back to Omega later will I have all the ships back?
