i'm trying to move a bunch of PI (450K m3) out of low sec.

it's like 5 jumps to nearest high sec system (which is really all i'm looking to achive),

is Black Frog my only option, I'm not familar with other hauler services or options.

to make matters worse, is in the middle of FW space.

Ridcule not needed, I'm already well aware of the stupidity i've created.SadShockedOops

According to Black Frog for 300K m3 they will be charging 100M to get it out.

Any suggestions.

Thanks

100M doesn't sound like too much for that kind of service.

Let's assume you have at least P2 commodities, that's 1.5 m³ per unit: 200K units / 300K m³

Most of P2 should sell between 10K and 17K, let's say 12.5K in average: 2,5 B ISK

That's 4% of the value for the service, I would go for that.

If you really want to haul for yourself, well, that's quite a few trips with the Epithal:

Epithal Fitting Lowsec (UniWiki)

I think the idea behind this fitting is to survive the damage of a gatecamp long enough to warp off, given that the gatecamp doesn't manage to bring more than 3 points of warp scrambling quick enough.

Use a quiet time, let a friend or alt scout for gatecamps.

The Black Frog pilot is putting an 8 billion ISK ship at risk and the operation will require 2 Cyno pilots in addition to the freighter pilot. If you PI in the area where you live, your alliance should have JF services in the 500 ISK/M3 range to major hubs.

Personally I would chop the size down to 60K packages, grab a Kryos or Deep Space Transport, next probe and use a wormhole chain from your system to safe highsec (medium ship size). Then ship it yourself from there to Jita or post a contract for >=1M/Jump in Haulers Channel. If not, but for the challenge and fun gameplay.

I'm my own NPC alt.

Thanks for all the responses, I do appreciate it.

I had never used a hauling service before, and now that i read your responses all of them makes sense.

Even the looney one about WH jumping to high sec....fun yes but not for this old man.

thanks for the input and short of this thread turning into a Black Frog vs. [insert name here]

let's consider this short sweet and closed.

Cheers,

He's going to want an Epithal.

That aside, +1 for this.

If you're just a little bit patient, wormholes solve so many annoying logistical problems.

Wasn't looney at all, friend. Hell, eventually you'll get a direct LS->HS connection in system, if you just wait long enough.

Well, all roads lead to Thera:

Though I'm not recommending that.

He's going to want an Epithal.

Thanks for the correction, always mix those special cargo haulers up Roll .. have both, but more often flying Kryos for the minerals.

TBH, I'll go ahead and recommend it for any reasonable per-transit sum of cargo. I use Thera all the time with nary an issue.

I saw a heron, once.

cloak + mwd epithal works. Double check the gates for smartbombers, and if they aren't there you can make a run for it.

And do not forget about the Ninja JF pilots who jump into lowsec to get low priced goods and move them to a market paying more. If you're not in a rush and do not want haul it yourself, put it up on contract to a station, not a citadel that can have its doors closed to the public. One of them may decide to buy the material and move it.

Options abound sir.

If you don't want to pay then wait for a highsec wormhole to appear in your system. Once the stuff is in highsec the transport costs will be much lower.

Zappity's Adventures for a taste of lowsec and nullsec.
