Discrepancy of +4 Implants and Alpha Clones

Something caught my eye while browsing the market:

As you probably know, Alpha clones are currently limited to Cybernetics 3, meaning they normally can only equip +3 attributes implants at best.
Yet I noticed, if I am to believe the UI right, that all the High-grade implants - which give +4 in an attribute in addition to a bonus in a given ship stat), requiring only Cybernetics 2, are available to Alpha clones - albeit much more expensively than the standard +4 implants.

Is this an oversight of some sort?

Big "Who cares"?

If they want to spend that kind of scratch on implants only to continue learning at half speed to a very low skill threshold, god bless them. They'd be vastly better off just buying a plex, at that point.

That's not the point: Why block a certain group of items and allow another, better version of the first group at the same time, regardless of money? It takes even less time to train for High-grades than it is for standards, relatively speaking.

Yeah, dude, you're totally right, that makes little sense.

This being F&I, what is it that you suggest be done about this utterly inconsequential triviality that has you feverishly clutching your pearls?

This is just yet another great argument for removing attributes from the game altogether. And having implants be things that just affect your stats while you are in space, not something that affects skilling.

I'm for this.

Same face trope!

That said I kind of agree with just removing attributes.

Remove attribute, give us all a flat 30 for all. I and have implants as enhancers as they are now.

If there would just be an easy solution to this problem. But hey there is subscribe or just use a plex. And your problem is solved.

And no no more features for alphas.
