Since they got rid of the in game browser http://eve-locator.justaddhippopotamus.com/index.html?ref=board has been non-functional, but it is back now, all nice and api-happy.

Two requests for the devs.

1) Setting your autopilot used to work through the CCPEVE object to set the autopilot to stations as well as systems, can we get that in Crest?
2) Access tokens only last about 20 minutes. I'm trying to keep the client all in a browser. Can we get a way to extend a token that doesn't require a server?

I honestly feel like I just read fifty shades of dumb. --CCP Falcon

1) would be nice

2) I don't see why you couldn't in principle write a browser-only application which used client-local storage to store the refresh token, and convert that into the access token as needed.

Trade Hub Price Checker: stop.hammerti.me.uk/pricecheck

Visit "Haulers Channel" in game for all matters courier-related.

Structure name/system API: stop.hammerti.me.uk/api

I could, the problem is exposing the application secret. While it is of limited use to anyone, I am not a fan.

My (real cheap) hosting provides me with enough storage but is severely limited with its CPU budget. I used to run the page as a PHP page, but getting over ten users at any point (back in the day I was doing most of the page work on the server) popped my cpu limit so I rewrote all of it in Javascript. And am loathe to re-introduce a server component that if it pops my cpu limit again removes the page from circulation.

So please CCP? Can we get a way to refresh our token? (Or at least if we keep using the token we have, let it continue into the future?)
