White screen on launcher.

Cannot connect at all been that way all evening it seems that Cloudfront.net site is down and its affecting the connection I ran a trace from the launcher and that's where the problem is when do you think this can be fixed CCP ? .

Note: I belong to a public site on facebook dedicated to eve and it seems that there are several people that its affecting there also.

there is a big problem somewhere
because is dont see a good solution ,at least i did not find it or

even today no one is home to help ....they are all partying at some fest

no one is giving a good solution also

I'm getting white screen on launcher startup, after installing fresh launcher, it works properly only first time, when i try to start it again, the white screen is back.

EDIT:
I don't have any problems with connecting to launcher.eveonline.com.
Launcher started, ate up to 1.5GB RAM(!), loaded and then crashed.

Reinstallling launcher didn't work anymore, so i removed all setting files (made backup) from appdata and made clean install, this time everything worked properly.

For some reason files stored in "AppData\Local\CCP\EVE\QtWebEngine\Default\IndexedDB\https_launcher.eveonline.com_0.indexeddb.leveldb" were causing crashes on startup.

White screen is back.
I am able to start launcher only when there are no accounts on the list, after logging in launcher stops working and turns white.

FWIW: I was having this problem as well, and got a fix for myself this evening.

In my case it was a software firewall issue. Though there were allow rules for the main EVE executable, there was no rule allowing the Launcher network access.

Try at least temporarily disabling any firewall you may have running, and run the launcher again to see if that helps. If so, add in a rule granting the EVE launcher network access.

I am also having this issue. Launcher is blank save for the E, _, and X icons at the top.

I have tried the following fixes, with no change in behavior:


Adding an environment variable as detailed here- https://support.eveonline.com/hc/en-us/articles/210035165-Launcher-window-white-black-or-transparent- (no change)

Running the launcher as an administrator (no change)

Adding a rule on my firewall as detailed by Phedre Dulaara (no change)

Running the "fix permissions" app thing (I wasn't getting permissions errors, but figured I'd give it a go. No change.)

Going through E > Server List > Play on Tranquility (no change, client will not launch from this. No response at all.)

I had this thing like one month ago. I reinstalled the game because nothing I could read here worked. Now everything works.

But maybe try running Verify in launcher cache settings, if they show for you on the upper menu.

Verify cache doesn't work if it can't connect to download any content in the first place!

Having similar issues as well, and ironically started immediately after becoming omega... I've tried a number of things on my own using advice from the forums and support articles, and without going into excruciating detail, my question is: is there a difference between submitting a "bug report" and submitting a "support ticket"? I submitted a bug report on 12/30 and haven't heard back yet (holidays and all, so I understand), but should I also submit a support ticket?

Disappointed I didn't get to play the game as much as I would have liked over the holiday period as I was really getting into it, but still looking forward to playing!
