I suspect he means the single probe run method. That only gives you a few seconds d-scan window. However for large ships (esp. if they run MWD) it is possible to get a 100% hit with a 16 or 32 AU probe formation without a centre probe, all probes will then be out of d-scan range. I've scanned out battleships and carriers this way.

I might as well be a newbie with all the changes that happened in my nearly 6 year hiatus, but a couple of the commenters stated something that I need clarification on: You can now see people in local in nulsec? Is that right?

So after a full page of responses, hopefully you now understand whatever part of "It's a PVP game" you didn't understand before.

EDIT: And the fact that we've been playing for 10 years means we know exactly what you can possibly fit on a Stratios (or any other ship) and how to counter that.

In WH space you can't see others in local, but in Null you can.

My choice of pronouns is based on your avatar. Even if I know what is behind the avatar.
