After playing trials from 1 month to 6 month longs since the release of EVE, I finally decided to commit longterm. I am coming in as an explorer or for exploration and trying to gain some insight on what are the first 10 things I should do right away? From joining an alliance to skills and ships. Please do not hold back. LOL

See about joining Signal Cartel and I'm sure you're likely to find bunch of pilots who can show you the ropes.

Get on Comms, or die typing.

For exploration, prioritize covops. The covops cloak is a huge benefit.

My choice of pronouns is based on your avatar. Even if I know what is behind the avatar.

hmm.. 10 things? A list? Just some quick ones off the top of my head.. did just finish up training a new player on how to do relic sites.

I would learn what the directional scanner is.

You're going to get lots of practice probing. Maybe look into some hardwirings that help with scanning, there are cheap 2% ones. Also check out the scanning modules.

Don't be afraid to go anywhere in your scanning ship. It's okay to die. Most of the really good relic sites will be out on the fringes and inside wormholes and anywhere everyone else isn't.

There are numerous other corps based in w-space. Some not with as noble intentions, but they all have fun in their own way.
