Wormholes C etc. for sale?

Hey guys,

I noticed in the 'Sell' marketplace forum people selling (I'm assuming) POS with a citadel. Aren't WH's temporary? or is it just the accessibility? Any info on this or link to a site explaining this would be appreciated.

There are different sell offers. Some just offer the entrance of the WH, others sell structures within the WH, too.

The WH itself isn't temporary, just the gates to the WH. But if you have a toon with scanning skills within the WH, you can scan the given access when needed. It should be noted, that buying a WH does not prevent others from acessing the WH.

Okay so there's like 2700 systems that can only be accessed by passing through a wormhole. They have a few different terminologies but generally are the same thing.

When people are talking about wormhole space they are referring to the systems with a J name like J221560. Wormholes are also referred to as j-space. These systems are unique because there's no stargates that link them and the only way inside is to probe down a cosmic signature that ends up being a wormhole. Sometimes these can lead to other parts of New Eden (k-space) or into somewhere into the region of Anoikis.

It happens more often than not that people get locked out of their own wormhole. Because these wormhole signatures are temporary, it's the only way in and out.

Sometimes people move out of wormholes or they come across favorable ones to live in that have no apparent residents so they list them for sale on the forums. I've only sold one wormhole ever since I've started playing and I've bought two myself.

TL;DR:

"wormholes" as in the connections between two systems are temporary.

"wormholes" as in a "wormhole system" (a system which can only be reached via wormhole, name is J followed by a number) are permanent, but the connections to them change over time.
