I got out, when I just got a new campaign mission ship. Then I thought to destroy some weak guy and police destroyed my ship. Then, I found that my new ship was not in my inventory, together with equipment. How to restore it? I require it in order to complete campaign mission. Please, help ASAP!

Welcome to the game of choices.

You don't get it back there is no restoration, loss is permanent, better figure out how to get a new one. What ship are we talking about?

Okay... some nitpicking first (don't take it personally)...

You mean you got a ship from a mission.

There are no "campaign ships." The ship you lost is no more unique than any other ship you can build or buy.

Note that in High-security space (1.0 to 0.5 systems) attacking a player without first...

- being in an official duel with said player
- being at war with said player's corporation
- tricking said player to become a valid target via aggression mechanic shenanigans

... will result in the NPC police (see: CONCORD) attacking you and blowing up your ship.
You will also have a 15 minute "criminal timer" where the NPCs will automatically blow up any ship you fly in High-security space (exception: flying around in your pod).

You cannot.

Ship death in EVE is permanent. And any cargo or modules you had in the ship has a 50% drop rate as loot (which any player can pick up).

You will have to go and buy a new ship and all the modules you fit on it from the market.

The market can be found in any station, but the biggest "hubs" are Jita, Amarr, Dodixie, Rens, and Hek.
(note: I highly recommend you avoid Jita on the weekend as it can be bogged down with too many players)

Please note that items you buy from the market are station-specific. Take great care that you are buying from the correct station.

Ok, people, thanks, for your answer. But here is another question. How do I continue the campaign then?

Dust yourself off, buy another ship, fit it up, and continue.

If you find that the mission cannot be completed after going back to it, you can have a GM reset it for you.

What do you mean by GM resetting it for me?

Usually missions reset after downtime, or if you can manage to get back to it before downtime you can continue where you stopped before. What is meant by GM reset is that for some reason you go back to the mission after downtime, and it's not 'reset', i.e. start from the beginning again with all the rats and the mission loot respawned, you can ask a GM to reset it for you. I'm not familiar with the current NPE and missions that are part of it, but at least this is how missions generally work

You can file a petition using the F12 menu. Ask that ((insert mission name here)) be reset so that you can re-accept the mission and try again.

Do understand that there is a currently a backlog in the petition queue right now, so it may be a few hours before someone will get to the one you have filed.

During that time, you can travel to one of the market hubs, buy a new ship, and travel back to where you originally accepted the mission.

Optionally, you can try doing some other stuff. Like chat with people, gather information, and experiment with ship fits.

Somebody near highsec just give him a t1 frigate, it'd save both your and the GM's time.

I log in and see the increase in player population and get happy.

Then I log into the forums and see this kind of post and lose all faith in humanity.

This game isn't for everyone. It's harsh and unforgiving. It will chew you up and spit you out, but that is the reason most of us love it.

You lost your ship? Buy a new one.

You can't afford it? Either try to earn the ISK to buy it, or lie cheat and steal to get another one.

Every decision you make in EvE has a consequence, be it good or bad. Keep that in mind in the future... should you decide to stay.
