Absolute garbage

My second corp would task everyone to blowup any member that was mining during a wardec, or afk mining any time. "Weapons free on XXXX. He is afk mining in system YYY." We all flew in from several jumps away just to pointedly remind someone what is not acceptable corp behavior. Because of this, I strongly support corps with friendly fire ON.

There was no question in the op, and we can't help you much if you don't ask questions. Tell us your problem and we'll help teach you to solve them, but just rant or curse the game, and we can only assume the problem is you, not the game.

Let me expand:
You shouldn't be in a corp.

Make a 1 man corp. Move out to Seil and join the Seil Ice Fleet.
They are a confederation of independent miners who share boosts, ganking intel, and reprocessing authority. They have a logo that they keep in their bios and a set of chat channels and mailing lists to give their memebers a sense of collective identity.

There are a bunch of groups out there with this kind of "social corp" structure.
They are functionally immune to wardecs.

You made your mistake when you mined under a wardec. Learn from it.


Wardecs are trivially easy to avoid, even if you use a POS, citadel, poco, etc.
Help us to prove this to CCP so they will change up the mechanics.

Seriously though OP. This game isn't for everyone. If you don't like it there are a ton of other games out there. I wish you the best wherever you go.

Unlike most other MMOs EVE requires a few working braincells. It seems you failed that test.

In case you decide to relax and try the game again, I would recommend reading the comprehensive Message of the Day sent by Horde when you joined. It will explain about wardecs, and guide you on getting to the Horde staging system in 7RM. The Newbean channel you get automatically signed in to will be full of helpful players - look out for the NBI staff.

If you want to mine, nullsec space protected by the Standing fleet will be very profitable for you. Horde is very helpful to new players as long a you read and listen to the advice given about being in fleet and in comms.

If you don't want to be in nullsec, you should leave Horde and follow the good advice given above.

there's a lot of people willing to help somebody out they just have to ask for it if they come on our Mumble server we could help them a lot faster and if they have any questions that's the best place to get them answered almost immediately

I'm out in space with 3 macs and 1 porpoise I haven't even lost one mining ship yet I've been in horde for a quite a while are Fleet response really quick to any hostile threats we cannot save some people if there an ventures but we give those out for free if you lose one we give you a new one for no cost and it's fully fitted

I can mine all day it feels like I'm in high security space most of the time

if anybody needs any help on anything some of us are nice enough to even give people cash to replace their ships

matter of fact we have so many people mining we sometimes don't need the rest of the fleet and are combat drones are good enough to kill any small threat

there's certain times of the day where our Fleet isn't it strongest but that's a very small window and even then at our weakest we have about 60 to 80 people can do something about some situations

Nov 22nd - Lost a Venture + Pod (2,000,000 ISK) mining in 0.2 sec.
Dec 3rd - Lost a Retriever + Pod (37,000,000 ISK) mining in Hisec while under Wardec...



1 Kill in career (21,000,000 ISK).
10 Losses in career (633,000,000 ISK) even including a 300Mil pod loss due to flying a t1 hauler through nulsec with a cloak but no MWD and no stabs. I assume he planned to tank the damage with all the expensive metal in his head.

I notice a pattern here, between a persons failure to master the game and their ready-ness to cry about how bad the game is.

Even with all the butt-hurt flowing from the OP, people have still offered help. And for any new players reading this thread, please realize that if someone comes to the forums asking for help they will receive it in bucket loads. Where as when someone just comes here to vent about how they failed to understand what they need to do and tell anyone who will listen about how it's the games fault and not theirs, it's easy to understand why they get the abuse they get :)

EvE is HARD, never be afraid to fail as long as you're willing to stand on your own two feet and deal with the lessons you must learn. Don;t become the guy who just wants the game changed to suit their own stunted skill level
