WHY IS IT NOT POSSIBLE TO CHANGE GENDER???

I've always wondered why it isn't possible to change your gender. Usually CCP is very forward thinking about topics like these, even going so far as to sponsor many philanthropic events such as Breast Cancer. But why do they feel that gender reassignment is something out of the ordinary, rendering the system impossible? Please allow gender reassignment!

Real world politics don't have a place in a game like eve. Stuff like this leads to a slippery slope full of tin foil hats and echo chambers.

Just make a character in the gender you want. If you don't like it, you can always send him/her to the biomass plant and make another character.

Am i right in my suggestion that these posts are the first forerunners of other ridiculous Alpha claims regarding the equalization of their non paid accounts to a paid one?

It always works this way when a game goes ftp.........

Not paying and demanding all is a well known ftp player issue

Nah, I think this is just some wonky logic, and a lack of lore reading.

Let us suspend disbelief for a moment.

So, OP, if the person who is the playing character is actually is "trans" in the game world, would not the very first thing they would have done upon becoming a capsuleer, is to change their clones over to one of the opposite gender? So in essence, you choosing the character as the gender it is, actually chosing the gender opposite to the one it was born in. Food for thought, if you are actually not a troll.

EXCUSE ME DON'T BE AN ALPHA NAZI, it's not like you're part of the omega aryan race or something. Besides, your logic doesn't work because i've been subscribed for a long time.

I understand you can create a character but what if you have a 100 mil character and you just want to change to a guy?

There simply is no reason NOT to enable gender change, if one wishes to do so why not let them. If we can change genders in this day and age, why is that not a possibility a few thousand years later??

Obviously you can use your bio to indicate what gender you think you are, and the fine upstanding citizens of new Eden will no doubt treat that suggestion with the respect it deserves. In the meantime, just as in RL, you cannot change your sex.

what do you mean you can't? It's 100% possible to do so through surgery and hormone intake

It may very well seem that you are incorrect in your assumption. I simply want to change one of my character's genders without having to reinject skills and find it extremely frustrating that I can't do so. Yes? No? Maybe so?

Well, if you are only concerned about the external features then you can also use the eve character generator to have your face resemble an ugly bloke. Problem solved.
