L2 mission for an Alpha

I started a 2nd account, making a couple of Alphas. It was interesting going thru everything like a new pilot. One of my new Alphas even ran a SOE arc. The Alphas are severely restricted in almost all aspects of EVE.

Anyway, this is just to say, that in L2 Human Cattle, part5/5, it was very tough for my Gallente Alpha. They would have lost their Thorax, and I thought it was a good fit. They lost shields and armor, and warped out. It actually was a surprise to me. Usually, most of the frigates and destroyers to down with one or two volleys, but not these guys. Just about every one was hard to take down, and then all got in about 3-4km. I will adjust the fit next time.

On Alphas skills: My Gallente Alpha is allowed to train some drone skills. Drones did help, but not that much in that last mission. But it is better than what my Caldari Alpha gets. For drones, the Caldari Alpha gets squat. For missiles, the Gallente gets squat.

So, for any new Alpha readers be forewarned, in the L2 mission, Human Cattle.

Not being able to cross-train as an alpha is a baffling design decision, but yeah L2's with Caldari rats can be a massive pain.

Mission of Mercy, Level 2 is also a pain if you dont get distance very fast.
It doesnt have triggers the waves spawn every 30 secs and is impossible to kill that fast with Alpha Clone Thorax.

ive done that a few times but im in a maller. i just wait for them to spawn in tho and snipe them with lasers. cuts right through them but its slow going cause theyre so tough. the regular guys are fine in those sleeper/mordu looking ships but the moas are a bit of a pain
