Since the Asension update sound is way too quiet

Hi, since the Asension update sound is way too quiet even if I set the volume on my computer and speakers to 100% and max it out the settings in-game, I can still barely hear Aura and the background music.

Eve is the only game that does this, I have tried updating my audio drivers, deleting the cache and completely reinstalling eve but the sound is still way too quiet compare to before the last update.

Do I need to buy a dedicated sound card to play Eve now?

Seems fine on my end, though I occasionally hear some sound effects cutting each other out. Are you're audio sliders for the game maxed out?
