Ore Drone Carrier - ATT. Mining Novice and Mining Veteran

The Porpoise is an Orca Light, in my opinion.
I guess it's supposed to be a Drone carrier, but is just so handicapped.

I would have liked to see the other hold large and amount of Mining Drones increased to at least 15. Maybe 5 light for security. 2 Hard points for homing missiles for defence.
These are just a few of the things. I have a small document, but I'd like to hear your opinion!

I've read that a few new ORE ships are under way.

Well its a Mining booster that just happens to be able to mine as well.

If you want a Porpoise non light edition its called the Orca.

The Orca gets heavily bonused mining drones, they are roughly equal to 15 mining drones. The reason CCP wants a smaller number of drones VS more drones is server load (More drones = more load).

As for the defense, just put 1 drones and launch a light drone. More than enough to kill HS belt rats. Anything more than that and it sounds like you want a AFK miner extreme. 15 drones so you can target a huge number of rocks before having to come back and auto defense so you don't have to worry about belt rats. Not really the point of the game.

Orca and Porpoise are not intended to be solo mining ships. They are fleet support ships. Since they need to be on-grid with the fleet, CCP gave them a bonus for mining drones so the industrial command ship pilot has something to do.

Isn't watching Netflix what Mining Directors are supposed to do, and engage tractor beams once in a while?

Managing drones takes away from me binging on XFiles during Mining Fleet Ops.

This company hasn't been the same since Steve Jobs died....
