Mining drone II does not benefit from T2 skill bonus

I was comparing the other T2 modules with the T2 mining drones and I noticed that Mining Drone Specialization does not apply to the T2 variant of the mining drone I.
This seems out of sync with the other in game ships/modules.

Items normally only benefit from skills that are pre-reqs. That's why the T2 mining drones don't benefit from the skill, because they don't require the skill.

Thanks for the info. I didn't see the drone part in the patch notes wall of text.
