Skill Loss.

Its just probably getting annoying to allot of people.
I had 5 pilots effected by this and only 2 of them are fixed.
Its been awhile sense patch day.

I had Caldari Frigate to 5, for example, now I only have it to 4. That happened on friday.

I've only lost Skill Points and had a support ticket open since Friday with no response now. what is the wait time on support please?

I didn't lose anywhere near what a lot of people have. Drone has dropped down to lvl 4, which leaves me unable to start any new skills that require Drone 5. On a positive note, Drone interfacing was unaffected. So i trained a it from 2 to 3. weird.

They've already made comments about the fix actions and going forward.

ie, if you're still missing SP, you have to petition. There are likely many of these instances, so basically "get in line/wait your turn" :/

Wish they had said they pushed a patch for this sooner, seems like those that reported issues right away got resolved quickly, now who knows how long it'll take. Slightly less than a week at this point since I submitted one (several weeks now as an overall issue of missing SP though).

It has now been a week since I had this issue (aka when they deployed the "fix"), and a week since I posted a support ticket.

Still nothing... When will we have our skills back?

I didn't realize it till I was reading the news thing about this from November 28th... but I was also affected in a similar way as Ashi. I didn't get anything overtrained beyond level 5 either, but mostly that's because I log in to EVE nearly every day with my 3 main toons on my 3 accounts.

However, I did notice shortly after EVE Ascension that 2 of my 3 toons had trained a bit beyond the amount needed for L4 on their skills they'd been training prior to the update. The third one hadn't, though. It was easy to notice thanks to the squares vs. two triangles appearance of partially trained skills now in the new character sheet.

I was puzzled, checked my skill training history, saw that they were skills I had just been working on but had moved on to new skills/new skill levels... shrugged, and moved on.

But now this thread shows me what had happened. Fascinating. I don't have any unallocated SP in game, but I'll have to check next time I log on whether those 2 overtrained skills past L4's boundary are still like that or not. I don't plan on training either to L5 anytime soon, so it's a bit irritating, but obviously not a huge deal. Just a bit of wasted training time and more partially-trained skill levels hanging around.

Login screen SP and character sheet SP have long disagreed. Especially when using skill training boosters. Used to be adding things to queue, hitting applying, etc... would autoupdate character sheet SP... now adding skills to queue (no apply button anymore, unless you consider (possibly) pointlessly pausing and resuming the new "hitting apply") does not update the SP amount... you have to close and re-open the character sheet.

I haven't checked, but hopefully doing the above also updates it for the login screen.

All i know is that I had 55mil sp a year ago when I quit and now I have 45mil sp so something has gone wrong.

Been over a week now and no reply from support

So will there be a solution to this HUGE issue? And if so, when? Within a couple of years, maybe?

I have honestly never experienced customer support being THIS slow to respond in ANY other place. This is a serious issue and should have been solved over the weekend, the FIRST weekend that is.

Just to update, i've got a reply from support and I had lost 10mil Sp, I had lost 2.1mil as something went wrong on the patch and add training time when I wasn't playing.

FYI for the rest of you waiting I did email support@eveonline.com, customer support and the GM was great and help me.

Just got the 2.1mil that I was missing, the SP that was showing on my account was wrong after the update. GM can explain better than I can.

It is now almost two weeks since I sent in a support ticket. I am assuming that emailing them and sending a support ticket is the same (if it is not, please let me know).

Having to wait even a WEEK is unacceptable for such an issue as the one we are facing, let alone TWO weeks.

I just submitted a ticket because my problem has also not been resolved.

Last June, I filled up my queue with 3-4 months of training as I was taking a break from playing. A day or two before the last patch, I logged in and it was on the final skill in that queue, everything looked fine. Then, once the patch hit, the queue and skills were reset back to how it was when I originally set the queue in June.
