Tried to sell that Blood Raider booster for 7.5mil in Rens (13 buy orders), ran to Amarr, bought 10 for 5mil each, ran to Rens and when i get there all 13 orders are done....

Well i managed to lose only 9 mil in the end.... lesson learned never to travel so many jumps for a buy order.

If it seems to good to be true, it probably is.

Create situations, don't react to them. It's hard until you figure things out, but it's what one should work towards for success.

Also beware that there are scams that use thsi as well.

People can create orders with a huge buy even though they don't have the isk. They sell the item near buy at a huge mark up (but less than their order) and when yo try and fill it the order fails due to a lack of funds.

Also look out for orders with a minimum buy, similar scam to the one above but they have a huge minimum so no one can fill it (they might not have the isk either).

This can also be mitigated further by limiting the buy order to station/system.
