Someone told me you can't use Tech 2 ships is that true? or is this a change that now you can use Tech 2? any web url that references this and more would be helpful. Thanks in advance everyone, loving the game!

If you're an alpha clone then you are limited to t1 hulls, up to cruisers.

Perhaps you are thinking of the Novice faction warfare complexes, which only allow t1/faction frigates into them?

Ahh maybe. No idea why I was under the thinking of T2 not allowed, seems like I was thinking novice

Nov plex = T1, Pirate and Faction Frigs only
Sml plex = T1 and T2 Desi's, and all Frigs
Med Plex = T3D's, T1 and T2 Cruisers, and all Frigs and Desi's *
Lrg plex = unrestricted: No warp gate.

*Watch out entering a med plex in a smaller ship. They often have D-scan immune T2 Recon Cruisers inside. It will be a swift death.

Gamma?

Alpha clone = free account
Omega clone = paying sub

Free accounts (alpha clones) are limited in what ships they can fly and what modules they can use.
