Gutter Press has just been handed possibly the most SENSATIONAL news story in recent times !

A stargate in the Jovian Empire capital system (54-VNO in the J7HZ-F region), has reportedly been activated ! Something that has not been observed in years !

Stargate activations are tracked by several agencies, including CONCORD, and private-enterprise agencies catering to the capsuleer market, supplying capsuleers with a vast amount of data, such as the number of stargate activations, number of CONCORD-recorded destructions of ships, and much more.

One such agency reported that a stargate in the 54-VNO system was activated at least once, possibly twice, some time between 1900 and 2200 New Eden Standard Time on the 27.11.YC118.

Stargate activations in the Jovian regions are almost entirely unknown, with the speculation being that Jovian ships traverse their empire using wormholes, rather than stargates, which were possibly built as a convenience for visiting dignitaries before the Jove closed their borders to all visitors several years ago.

The anomalous stargate activations have caused a flurry of speculation amongst Gal-Net conspiracy theorists, with several theories being proposed, including that it is a test of a new type of Jovian starship, that somehow the SOCT are involved, and many more theories.

Some religious groups, have claimed that this is a Sign of what they call "The End Times", which are a prophesied time during which the universe comes to an end.

Other groups have linked this to one of the Prophecies of Macaper, possibly the 5th, which is described as “the little brother makes the final sorrowful steps home; he is not welcome”.

Yet other groups have pointed the finger at the recent Alpha capsuleers, claiming that capsuleer incompetence is somehow to blame.

Whatever the truth is of these anomalous events, the activities of the Jovians are now under new scrutiny by many capsuleers and other investigators.
