Pirate Epic Arcs

Do you get corresponding faction standing decreases for the 4 Empire factions when you run these or at the end when you get a bonus to the respective pirate faction? If so can it be avoided (eg ship kills by an alt)?

I didnt experience a remarkable standing loss with Minmatar, after doing the Angel one, if any at all.
I experienced a standing loss with Caldari after doing the Guristas one, though that was probably because I killed Caldari ships during the missions.

Yeah, pretty much all of the higher level Epic Arcs have a couple of missions that incur a small amount of negative Faction standing for ship / structure kill. However that amount is nothing compared to the amount of positive standing gained for completing the Epic Arc, especially the Pirate Arcs.

Basically you have 3 months waiting period before you can redo the Epic Arcs. Despite incurring negative standing hits for ship kills, if you did both level 3 Pirate Arcs, all of the level 4 Empire Arcs and the level 1 Sisters of Eve Arc (choice of Faction standing increase), you can easily become positive with almost all Factions, especially if you alternate completing the Amarr Epic Arc for Sansha and the Gallente Epic Arc for The Syndicate' Faction.
