Sick of losing my fits... ccpls... literallly unplayable... etc... Roll

Please put a "Save" button in the fitting window, just to save your changes to the fit you're editing.

A nice-to-have would be "Auto Save" too.

The safe button moved to the left wing-window of the fitting screen and yes, I had to look for it too What?

I mean "Save", not "Save As" :)

You can save a fitting and then come back to it. Or am i missing something?

Think of it like a word document.
You have word.docx
You open it.
You type something.
You press save (or ctrl+s).
You close it.
You expect to be able to later open word.docx and have your changes in it.

This is so you don't end up with
word.docx
word2.docx
word3.docx
etc

eve doesn't even prevent duplicate names so you can have
word.docx
word.docx
word.docx
etc.
good luck with that.

I'm constantly opening fits and trying to improve them, but saving those fits in a logical way is a real pita.

What does flatbread have to do with the Ghost fitting service?

This thread is now about flatbread

is it so hard to hit save then just delete the old one?

On paper it shouldn't be, but I've managed to delete the wrong fit a couple of times.
What happens to me most often is that I forget to save at all. I'm used to EFT just saving everything automatically.
I know there was a prompt about losing changes, but it was really annoying so I turned it off.

For example:
- Open fit "My Fit"
- Edit it
- Realise you want to save it as "My Fit", but then you'd have 2 with the same name
- So you decide to delete "My Fit" first <- important
- You click "My Fit" to select it <- loses all your changes
- You delete "My Fit" <- deletes your fit
- You now have zero fits.

sounds like it's a problem you created for yourself then.

Not really, sometimes the prompt was useful but most of the time it wasn't, so on balance it's better with it off.
