Stripping fighters from launch tubes

Apparently this hasn't been mentioned anywhere yet though it is very annoying that there is no way to take out fighters loaded into tubes.
Strip fitting doesn't do this and you can't repackage a carrier that has fighters loaded.
Could we please get a fix for this so that strip fitting takes down everything but rigs?

all you have to do is drag the fighters back into the fighter bay and then you can remove them
