If I hover over the pin it says shift-click for multiple accounts (insecure)

Should read unsecure. At least in American English. For all I know insecure might be correct in British, Indian, or Australian English. In American English the primary reading for insecure is "lacking confidence."

My choice of pronouns is based on your avatar. Even if I know what is behind the avatar.

I need help. I can not choose a character. I tried to change the language to English, did not work.

Try going to Settings, Shared Cache settings, Verify... You may have some corrupt files.

So, i'm definitely losing my mind and i'm not sure if it's because of the launcher or my internet, but i thought i'd make a post about it.

Every time i start my launcher and hit the damn triangle, it goes square (i notice that the download bar just beneath it goes from full blue to half blue / half grey indicating some partial download), then goes back to a ******* triangle.

Am i having some ridiculous launcher problem getting hung up on downloads or something?

Or is this just my fuuuuuucking ****** internet connection?

Could you remove the annoying "Upgrade to omega" add on the launcher. I already have all clients in omega clones so I don't need to see it.

Since no one seems to reply in "Issues, Workarounds & Localization" My posting in the thread "White Screen"...

This launcher is giving me serious problems since quite a few days already.

Main problem is it regularly brings the error message "Version info not available" at the bottom of the screen. When i restart the launcher after this I#m not able anymore to log in with my characters - getting a white screen with the error message "Couldn't get GUI Version Info - Network access is disabled"

Here are the results of what i've done so far:
- complete reinstall -> worked from last update until today
- starting the launcher as admin -> did not help
- Launcher settings "Use system configuration for proxy" disabled -> did not help
- Switching between various versions and languages in the lancher -> did not help, too
- changing the dns-server to "8.8.8.8" & "8.8.4.4" in the network settings -> my internet connection works - launcher produces still the white screen
- rebooting the pc several times and restarting the lancher did also not help
- ipconfig /flushdns didn't help either
- verifying the shared cache also didn't solve the problem ...

The launcher is broken ...

Need help - i'm paying for a service i cannot use Sad

Your best bet is get official support by filing a support ticket at https://support.eveonline.com. The forums are primarily for players helping each other out, although us devs try to help as much as we can in our spare time.

Hello there,

yesterday i've filed a support ticket and got an answer a few min later - staying in contact with a GM at the moment concerning my probs with the launcher.
But thanks anyway for answering here in forum.Smile

Make sure there are no clients running, then go to Settings, Shared Cache Settings and press Verify.

This should get rid of any corrupt files.

Coming back from a LONG absence. Need to update launcher. Should I download to a new folder, or into the existing CCP folder?

So this creates a new installation? I can delete the old file after the settings migration?

After I log in my account in the launcher, I then try to start the game and the client itself starts up, and I get the dialog box that says "authenticating" etc, but I never get to the character selection screen. The screen stays black, but I can still open the settings window by pressing the escape key.

Some friends told me to clear my cache, and I have done that, I have also checked for updates to gpu drivers, and I restarted my computer and downloaded a 2.3gb patch. I have done everything I can think of short of reinstalling everything. Is there anything else I should try?

Hi- Back after a short time away from Game. Launcher works fine but it does not seem to allow me to cut and paste my very long and complex password......more than a pain whenever I want to play. Don't you want players to use the most secure passwords possible?

I am not sure if there was a patch since yesterday, but everything seems to be working fine all of a sudden.

There any what to reduce the size of the bar to the left side?

People with the time learn to ignore the ads, and the news things in the bottom of the launcher. Any way to people to minimice it. Becuase when you have life several account its not user friendly.

Click the "LAYOUT" button.
You can move items in the launcher to suit your needs
