I know this topic has been touched a few times over the years, I would like to add my 2ยข. Thanks for hearing me out.

Since EVE has gone "freemium" in part, and can be DL'd for free on steam now, I would really like to see the ability to link my preexisting accounts to steam, It's a common practice and very convenient for players/customers. Personally I prefer to have my credit card information in as few places as possible. Having the ability to buy plex and such in the same place as about 98% of my other games would be nice. Current count is 483 games in my library. The only reason I have any other accounts is blizzard and origin for games that are only available on those platforms.

Very rarely anymore do I buy "one off" games on any sort of non-platform based system. The exception to the rule for me currently is Star Citizen. Now I'm not a die hard EVE player, actually I'm just getting back into it, though personally, i choose to remain alpha purely due to the fact that I would rather make my purchases on a platform that I use consistently that the game currently exists on.

I don't want to re-roll a new account purely for that purchase availability, Do I have a ton of time in my current toon comparatively to other players, no. I know that skill injectors are a thing and may eventually end up doing so if this doesn't happen, though it should not have to be an option.

I do know that I may get some "steam makes my PC a potato" comments here, but that's you friend, and if your happy with how you pay and play that's cool, though i would say you need to upgrade that core 2 duo your running or at least get a new hamster.

I invite others input on this topic, though lets please keep it civil, and the fanboying to a minimum on either side.

For those wanting to be social and such my steam handle is Cruxdaca.
