fleet typhoon PVE fit

Hello, I recently acquired a FI typhoon, I did a light research into it and found that most fits lean on missile for damage.

I'm specc'ed on drones and projectiles so I was wondering if there was a fit good for L4 missions that leaned to using projectiles instead of missiles. or something that works with projectiles and drones.

The best drones for Lv4s tend to be mostly Sentry based and Missiles tend to work best with Sentries (combined with selectable damage etc.) Back when I ran a Fleet phoon for ratting that's how I had it fit.

That said You can try a mobile AC + AB (or maybe MWD) + Gecko build or T2 Ogres. You have some utility highs for remote reps for the drones as well. IIRC I armor tanked my fit but I was running against sansha so the resist profiles fit best for an armor tank.

The fitting implant is necessary. The idea is to use the MJD to sit somewhere between 30km and 100km away from the enemies and blap them all as they approach. Set sentries on the frigs and cruisers, use artillery to kill the battleships and MJD further out if they get too close. Shield booster is for emergencies and ideally shouldn't need to be used. This isn't as efficient as a Rattlesnake or Machariel, but I found it fun to fly :P

1070 DPS
Boosts 270.3 EHP/S (omni damage) if required
Cap stable while booster is loaded
Lasts 30s when booster is depleted

Total cost (excluding implants) ~ 1billion ISK

Sell the typhoon and buy a Tempest FI...orrr...get a Machariel and spend the week or so needed for Gallente BS 3 cuz the Mach will be a huge improvement over the navy hulls

but what would I know, I'm just a salvager

Thanks all for your input.

I didn't go for a machariel or a rattle because while they are amazing at dishing out damage and were amazing at mission efficiency, (Even found a rattle fit that supposedly could do the mission on it's own, the player playing there just to move it from gate to gate) they weren't ships that I personally liked to fly in. If I can't feel comfortable flying something I just can't bring myself to use it.
