Structure components to improve Module Reprocessing Efficiency

Right now the only way to improve Reprocessing Efficiency for Modules is to increase standings with a station's Corporation and to train Scrapmetal Processing. This can get efficiency up to 55%.

With all the new structures processes it would be a shame to not touch on this functionality.

Either through the use of Rigs or a dedicated service module, or even implants, I think that improved Module Reprocessing Efficiency should be able to be improved beyond the 55%

Module reprocessing nerf was done to prevent modules from being reprocessed instead of traditional mining. Increasing the yield too much would cause this to happen again. 55% is a good level to allow for module reprocessing when needed but not as a staple form of minerals.

If you don't follow the rules, neither will I.

I did suspect it was intentional but personally, I think the nerf needs to be revisited.

Now with plentiful high efficiency reprocessing and compression becoming common, the junk dealer play style has likely lost much, if not all, of its appeal.

There is nothing wrong with having scrap reprocessing specialists. In fact it likely will boost the market and mission looting as everything will become that small bit more valuable, and more buy orders out there for scrap can only be a good thing. But, 5% for a specialist is not enough of a competitive edge to warrant selling scrap modules over reprocessing them yourself.

In perfect conditions the Junk dealer should be able to buy scrap for a value equal or greater than that of it's minerals at 50% efficiency, reprocess the goods, then sell the minerals to turn a profit, but with taxes and reprocessing fees it is likely now only at the break even point, and even if they can turn a profit, the huge number of orders, turnover, and investment needed makes it a slow buck, even though it could all be done by sitting in station.

What makes things so different now though is that with citadels, instead of being able to do all this by just sitting in a trade hub station they would have to engage more in the transportation of the module and mineral goods themselves, opening up elements of risk that could be bypassed before.

Just hope that the module tiericide will continue shortly, then we get rid of all "useless" modules and you can sustain yourself with infinite replacement modules that are all useful.
