I like playing eve and only just came back from a 2 month leave...

Well it didn't just crash. You actually got a pop up giving you a 15 minute warning. However, I understand because of TiDi if you didn't actually receive the popup until after the servers went down.

Relax, the likely had to do a power grid reset after the network reset because the server restart didn't give the results they were looking for.

You should hire Asian people. Asia level on everything is... Asian.
Also should consider move servers to Russia, they would guarantee to you 140% up time.

Unless you were AFK (or worse, botting), you had plenty of warning that the cluster was being taken down.

My theory is that all the Drakes nerfed EVE, before EVE nerfed them...........

To buck the popular trend, I began to Rage Start instead of Rage Quit.

...and every time I get another piece of Carbon, I know exactly what CCP is getting this Christmas.
