If a group of 20 men are mining. all of us need to go put our mineral on a station and contract it to a "production leader"..
The Production leader will sit with alot of contracts..

Could it be possible to have a Corp hangar that all members can share so miniers could just dump minerals in to one hangar?

A group og miners, from 2-3 differents corps. share a hangar, by using a Code to enter it..?

Yup. It's called a corporation hanger and it exists. That is one of the few benefits of being in a player corporation and I don't see that exclusivity going away any time soon.

If you aren't in the same corporation you will just have to use one of the other methods like contracts or direct trading to exchange assets. That or join the same corporation as the mechanics are encouraging you to do. I guess you could also set up a private Fortizar and use the market module to run a private mining operation if you have the resources.

An alliance-level hanger would be cool though.

In NPC stations you can set up corp hangars by setting up an office - prices vary by station (demand driven), so a corp office in Jita is pretty expensive, but remote areas (where mining would be better anyway) are pretty cheap. Citadels can be set up the same way, but it may have to be your citadel.

I haven't been in an alliance or out of a WH for several years, so I'm not sure if you can have alliance hangars - someone please fill this in.

I don't think there is a mechanism for shared hangars across non allied corporations. I also don't think there should be. As much as I'm OK with the less morally upstanding aspects of Eve - slushy hangars would open up an easy route to swipe stuff and cover your trail. I think scamming and swiping is fine, but I also believe there should be a reasonable way to trace and hunt down a sloppy thief if effort is put into it. So communal hangars for non allied corporations - not good.

If a thief/spy is in your corp or alliance - you have a mechanism to kick him from corp/alliance to terminate access to the communal hangar.

Overall you're shared storage exists for corp and (I think) alliance mates. If you guys in different corps mine together on a regular basis - join the same corp or alliance and use the mechanics already in game.

EDIT ADD: it looks like you can't share on the alliance level based on Pedro's response. CCP gives a fair amount of advantage to players being in the same corp. If you guys hang out together - consider that option.

The solution CCP provides for this problem is the Orca. You'll have 250K M3 storage in the ship with reasonable skills and anyone in fleet can use the fleet hangar - or get the Orca pilot to tractor in jetcans.

With a 20 person fleet you'll likely want a freighter to haul the ore to a station or reprocessing/compression facility - 20 boosted Exhumers won't take long to fill it.
