Hello CCP,

As already posted on other things last week some ESI endpoints disappeared without explanation or without information on WHEN/IF they would return.

As a developer that is trying to migrate my stuff for the announced ESI (replacing CREST/XML API) it would be nice to know of such changes from behalf of who controls the ESI endpoints.

Can someone please update us on the status of the missing endpoints from last week?

Best regards,

They announced that API XML and CREST have 6 months or like more to be used. ESI just started so i think there is no need to force migration.

18? Well, i heard 12, now 6 and finally 18 months... gives us time in any case to migrate stuff but would still know what's happening with the missing endpoints and, for me important, WHEN can we consider that it's a GO point to start using ESI existing endpoints in production?

Ok that CREST/XML can work for another 18 months but there must be a day that CCP considers ESI stable (btw i'm already seeing missing endpoints...)

Once we replicate all current CREST and XML API functionality in ESI, we will be shutting down both services. We are targeting 18 months from the release of this blog to achieve functional equivalence and work with application developers to upgrade their applications. Removing the need to use the XML API will be our first priority. We will be monitoring use of the XML API and CREST to both identify and assist third party developers in their migration efforts.

Of course, there's probably going to be a _little_ wiggle room on the end of that. But it's the target.

When will the mail endpoints scope be available for ESI through the SSO? I am refering to this functionality: https://esi.tech.ccp.is/dev/#/Mail Is there any other way I can access them for developing purposes (besides the 'old' XML, which I am currently using)? It seems to be functional on your own site.

Also: Will the content of eve-mail messages still be using the outdated formatting (with font tags), or will it output something in accordance with current web standards?
