In-Game chat lotteries illegal now?

I'm reffering to the type you see when sitting around in trade hubs and such where the host spams "X Prize lottery, Y amount of ISK per entry!". Of course I'm talking about the legit lotteries ran like this (few and far between i know.), are these now illegal/bannable to participate in or host? I've been away for a while and I enjoy these lotteries in-game "ISK for Prize" kind of games, but I just came back and found out eve shut down all the gambling websites..just not sure if the EULA update includes 100% in-game immersive gambling.

Sounds like a question for a petition, not a forum post.

You should seek the GMs' instruction on this.

just to be 100% clear Sir Max of the ISD, this includes strictly in-game "immersive/roleplay" style of gambling with other players directly? don't wanna get myself banned for having some fun. I know you guys had alot of issues with 3rd party websites and such and had to shut them down to prevent RMT and such, but I'm not sure how transferring earned isk from 1 player to another in the hopes of winning a prize causes any issues as far as underage people using credit cards to gamble and such.

Also your link to the support just took me to the main support page, and when i search for gambling or lottery there are zero results found.

Also I've just read through the entire EULA and see nothing mentioned about gambling or lotteries.

Closest i found was a section about using extraneous methods to aquire items or currency to bolster the value of your account outside normal means for the sole purpoe of increasing the accounts value for an account sale.
