As it stands, I'm looking to get into incursions in high sec. I've been told, as Gallente, to go for the Vindicator, but aside from that, what else should I be looking at. Which skills should I queue after I have training done for the ship. Further more, I've been told there are groups that run. Is there anyone I could get in touch with for more information in game or any advice here anyone can offer?

T2 blasters.

Other than that, all you need is the basic sheild and magnetic field stabilizers to tech 2. Stasis webifiers to Tech 2 for vindis is also very important.

As vindicator, you actually have to skill 2 different races, so get those to level 4, preferably 5 asap as well.

Warp to me is a great community. They will give you optimal ship fittings for you to bring to their fleets.

I'm not completely up to date on the current meta for incursions, but in broad strokes, the exact ship isn't as important as hitting the stats. You need enough EHP, you need a desirable amount of DPS on top of that. EWAR that increases DPS is nice, like webs and paints. When I took part, I was hauling around both a maxed out oneiros and a proteus, so I could fill whichever role was needed, making it easier to find a fleet. It seemed I ran logi more than DPS, especially since it's harder to leave a fleet when you're logi, since you were harder to replace if you left.

Maxim 6. If violence wasn’t your last resort, you failed to resort to enough of it.
