Take a few different sorts. If I'm not mistaken EM is there hole so Faction EM is the way to go for stuff that is not too far away.

Worst case you may need it for PVP if you get dropped.

Hi

If ur going for drone lands u need to apply EM damage type. So, for your Vargur, EMP L is the correct ammo to use. I used to rat with a machariel there, I had no issues tanking Hordes and my tick was between 25/30mil. Never forget that drone 10/10s are actually really lucrative, given 400+m drop is rather guaranteed in each 10/10. So u might use a carrier/ machariel for the DED and ur vargur for the 10/10 (tractor beams and salvagers are absolutely important for drone 10/10s).

The issue with a marauder in DEDs is, u may get a infested carrier spawn in hordes, and if ur unlucky with ur bastion cycle time, ur dead, no matter how much tank ur vargur has.

You are mistaken mate. It is not. Drone lands are where the biggest hoptdrops and shiniest kills happen all the time.
