Used to use tripwire before they removed the IGB Sad now I run pathfinder in chrome instead, it sadly doesn't add new connections like trip did, you have to jump through the WHs before they're added to the map and it doesn't remove connections after their approximate lifespan is up (think i'm just lazy).

Not sure what you meant by authorize when you're logging in, i just click on the icon for whichever toon i'm scanning with and it takes me right into the map.

Edit: Tried logging a new toon and now i understand Roll i have my accounts saved so i don't have to login each time i open the page.

Bottom left of pathfinder screen accept the cookies and next time you load it you will skip all the authorize stuff :)

When we used Pathfinder, many of my guys complained constantly about this exact issue.

We were also having occasional performance issues where the website in general felt very sluggish to respond to simple commands, but the big thing that a lot of the corporation didn't like was the fact that their sessions expired every hour or so and they had to completely re-log in order to look at the map.

We moved to Siggy and have had no such issues since then. I still think that Siggy is pretty much the gold standard in wormhole mapping tools. You have to pay in order to use it, but the cost is minimal for any corporation that actively uses wormholes.

yeah i too noticed pathfinder can be very sluggish to respond and kept going offline tripwire is ok but i find the text a tad to small for my old eyes

I used Siggy for a long time and liked it. Like others, I found Tripwire difficult to see and not as intuitive. I like the look of Pathfinder but I just spent a couple of hours moving through wormholes and it followed me to one of them. One.

And yet ccp still promised no functionality would be lost with crest.... .

No local in null sec would fix everything!
