No sub auto-renewal?

So I how do I make sure the sub renewal is canceled? I clicked in the tab 'cancel subscription', but when I look on my account info it still says the next billing date is xx -xx etc. How can I 100% be sure the sub is canceled so that I wont will be auto billed next month?
