I rip on you guys often. But just wanted to say that this Ghost Fitting stuff is the best thing to happen to Eve since Warp to 0.

Thanks.

I disagree. We have access to at least 3 fitting utilities (EFT, pyfa, osmium), so we're doing ok even without ghost fitting.

On the other hand, the T1 ship tiericide, now that was the best thing to happen to EVE since Warp to 0.

I still haven't been able to figure out how to use the fitting sim with my current ship I'm in. It keeps defaulting to the last saved fit I had open. Totally dumb.

Warp to 0 was a good thing?

No, it was just a calendar marker, like YC 0.

In game fitting system will be current. Pyfa is awesome, however it takes the poor dude that makes it a little time to update. You can't really argue with the logic, but I am sure someone will find a way to.

I'm not sure if the fitting system does implants and stuff though.

Brigadine Ferathine It takes a little getting used to.

Also you can no longer hover/drag a module to see if it will fit on your ship in the fitting window.

I swear CCP are the kings of removing functionality and replacing it with less useful options no one asked for just for the new shiny.

I never understood why people need fitting tools. Just build the ship and see if it works and have fun.

People take these things to serious.

I absolutely love it.

A friend linked his fit in the a chat and i could play with it on my actual fitting. Could replace some modules and see how it would work out.

It's awesome. Thanks CCP.

Edit. Well, i did it on the orca while mining. So, i had time for it.Big smile

Save your current fit. Then go to ghost fitting and load the fit from the very long list of all existing ships. Works for me.

I am quite sure, that it does. It shows the same stats as my normal fitting window.

I've been winning EvE for a couple of months ... came back and saw the new fitting window. It was a pleasant surprise indeed. Exactly what I've longed for for years; a shining beacon of elegance, perfection and ease-of-use, plus it's beautiful to boot- unlike the new character window which will take a LOT of getting used to.

Good job lads.

You can simulate any ship you have in hangar, or that you can own in game. You can just right click on the simulate ship icon and choose simulate my ship, and it will simulate the ship you are in currently, not the last one. Else you can just choose ship from the fittings on the left panel. There is so much functionalities I dont even.

I think I will have to experiment some more with it.

Yeah yeah good toy, but if i want to quickly refit a ship the mouseover on mods in hangar that used to change numbers in the fitting window was much more useful.
That's gone. I used it a lot.

They still work for me in hangar while in simulation. I dont know, maybe you all have to spend some more time to discover all of it. Its so packed of features that it needs a manual maybe. *scratches head*

More so in Jita where warp to 0 really means warp to 6K and slow boat for 15 seconds. It will take the noobs a while to figure that one out.
