In game gambling?

Now that third-party gambling is out what about in game gambling? There is no trust worthy system in place but that could be an idea. After all you are in the game using in game money to gamble for more in game money, ships, and items.

If players choose among themselves to wager in game currency, that is one thing.

If CCP institutes a coded method to facilitate gambling, it opens a whole new can of worms, including possible legal issues down the road. It's best for CCP to stick with their current stance on gambling.

does buying plex with rl money then gambling fall into standard gambling laws? sort of like buying chips at a casino, best thing that happened in eve was gambling was banned, lets leave it like that

honestly Im suprised they never made in game poker or other minigames to keep you occupied during mining or gate camps.

Yet they introduced the garbdige with cells

To be fair I used to play lemings in in game browsver but then they removed it those damn b...

Every time this idea floats to the surface we see this same basic question, the answer is it depends on the local laws where the player lives.

There are sites online that allow you to gamble in all manor of ways, if you and your friends MUST gamble while you play a game use one of those sites.

CCP is being proactive. If they have the a nice profit this year I'd rather it be spent on a new dev or 2. Not spent on legal teams and impact analysis assessments as they review the legal scene...internationally.

That and lets have them focus on making this a spaceship game. Need more isk....go rat/mission, Play the markets (hell there can be your gambling...will that 2 billion in cheap gear buy pan out next year on a rebalance patch and that gear is now FOTM and priced higher).

Also have to wonder why some are logging in to not even play the game. Hey, CCP add side mini-game stuff for me to do when bored. here is what I do....I log off and play other games of interest. You are not married to eve people....it won't care if you sneak off and play another game for a few hours. it doesn't go aww you were with that ho fallout 4 again, I can smell its perfume....you are in some deep crap now.

Isnt market tradeing gamble on its self? You buys plex to get the chips to place on market?

Hell bunch of competetive minigames would have been good as well. Just things to kill the time while mining or camping
