Coming back to EvE after an absence. It used to be that you had to upgrade your clone from the base line model to avoid losing training. Is this no longer necessary? I am not seeing the option at the clone station I'm looking at in the Science and Trade Institute School in Sankkasen.

Yep - medical clones are no longer a thing.

That has been removed, no more clone upgrading. The only ways to get rid of SP now are to either blow up in a T3 or use an Extractor.
