How long before....

...Alphas will complain they are not competitive at all and CCP is cheating when they advertise free to play while this is simply an unlimited trial....?

...Omegas will complain they need to share resources ( exploration sites, gas, ores and so on ) with so many not paying players so they need to pay all time and they are unable even to buy a plex for time to time?

You say it as if we do it without cause.

"Here's your car, I fixed it"

"Gee thanks.... wait, where's the steering wheel?"

"It's in the trunk now"

"What?"

"It looks soooo good in there, we couldn't resist"

"But how can I drive it now?"

"Please post your feedback in the appropriate thread. Conversation closed."

Yeah arn't they horrible. You would think that CCP was a business or something and the people complaining were customers, the way they whine on.

Big smile

The CSM gets in the way of CCP communicating properly with the players of this game.

After all we are not just players, we are customers.

Time for the CSM to be disbanded.

No one complains here at CCCP, (the first C is silent and hidden by KGB, renamed ISD to confuse)

It is a workers paradise. No one complains (for long)

(Note: Siberia was taken so they found another frozen waste land for the dissidents, CCP staff. Called Iceland.)

I noticed in the ship tree alphas can use navy frigates, those can be pretty good with the right fittings.

What is scary, they can use deadspace and faction modules. Shocked

Oh dear lord, with their limited skill set please let them equip a T1 cruiser with all the blue and green modules they can possibly fit and come to low or nul thinking that the better fit always wins.

But it's not disingenuous in the slightest. It really is free to play. The extent to which you can play is limited, but you can play and in order to be competitive in many areas you will need to subscribe and train or inject.

A few colleagues of mine have signed up, and to be honest they're under no illusions about the extent to which they'll be able to progress, without input from me.

This is a non-issue.

Highlighting, Limited Support modules. I don't see the point of limiting them on skills that won't help them make ISK faster.

There is a way to " legally screw it up", in particular for pvp.

To fly together with others, groups of t1 ships can be very effective when doing pvp agains smaller groups.

Obviously in a game where movement from place a to b is hard and slow, where if you die you are done and do it slowly from the beginning, where it's very hard to master flying a ship and so on the group vs. group situation is probably not so easy to reach.

Maybe in big nullsec corps it will be, I don't attend nullsec a lot so I can't tell it for sure...

It doesn't take much to "be competitive" depending on what your objectives are. I think Alphas have more than enough on their plate. You can make your way as an Alpha if you play smart. No you can't take out a Tengu han solo, but you can make isk and do stuff just fine.

A few will, because thats the nature of humans. But most will see it for what it is, you can do a ton as an alpha, and you have the benefit that for a lot of professions, if you pay with plex, and you fail to get the isk to buy a plex, then you merely let it lapse, and do what you were doing with smaller ships untill you get the isk for a plex. I already had one ex corp member go 'well this sucks, i can;t fly the ships i want.. so plex time!' and resub.

I'd not worry to much

(christ i used to be a 'if eve goes free to play i will quit' player, and here i am defending alpha.. god i really am i addict)
