Did I miss reading something? Are mining boosts meant to count as aggression?

I'm not phased if they are I just wasn't prepared for not being able to dock because of recent aggression. The only thing I had done was boost a mining frigate.

Last I heard, all boosts do that regardless. It's like the "bastion" module marauders use; it gives you a one-minute aggression timer. That means no docking and no gate jumps for that time. The reasoning is a bit complicated and revolves around balancing, but working as intended.

It's not aggression timer, it's the weapons timer

Not arguing about how or why it works, just saying that getting a timer that prevents docking simply because you boosted a mining ship seems a little on the odd side.

Weapons, bastion etc I can understand since all of those could be used as offensive weapons against other players or even NPC, but boosting a miner. Curious why you think this is needed as a balance factor for mining boosts?

Pretty sure it comes down to the to hard basket, if they removed the agro timer from mining boosts they would most likely have to split the code which means more Dev time and more maintenance.

The other boosts have the agro timer because they don't want people un-docking, boosting and re-docking there by making boosting a station games thing (Similar to hobo jamming).

Working as intended. To be fair with the speed they warp at, the timer will be mostly gone by the time you reach a safe haven to dock at.

but what would I know, I'm just a salvager
